Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) - the measure of the soil's fertility. Ion-exchanges that purify and convert pollutants into nutrients and efficiently store and supply water and nutrients. CEC is the amount of colloids.

Colloids - absorbent and additive surfaces. Organic colloids (humus) and inorganic colloids (minerals). A high quality soil fertility and vegetation is the same as a great amount of colloids and a good soil structure.

Good Soil Structure - the composition of the soil with evenly distributed grain sizes in the entire plant mass. Uniform and even soil structures with a high CEC generates long-term soil fertility and good vegetation.
